Granger and Dumitrescu–Hurlin panel causality tests are applied, and their results show that ACSEL causes EDUPS. Further, the Granger results indicate that ACSEL causes EDUPS for only Brazil and China. The findings suggest providing greater access to electricity for the further improvement of education in India, Russia, and South Africa.
