Ron Ratti specializes in macroeconomics, energy economics and money and banking. He has been a Professor of Economics at the University of Missouri and Western Sydney University, a Fulbright Professor at Korea University, and visitor at the London School of Economics, Cardiff University and Kyung Hee University. He has published in Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Energy Economics.
Ron serves as an Associate Editor of Energy Economics, Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions and Money, and Economic Modelling.
Russell Smyth is Professor of Economics and Deputy Dean (Academic Resources) in the Monash Business School, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
Russell Smyth has first class Honours degrees in Economics and Law from Monash University and a PhD in Economics from the University of London. He joined Monash University as a Lecturer in 1997 and was appointed Professor in 2004. His research interests are development economics, empirical legal studies, energy economics, financial economics and subjective wellbeing.
Russell is an Associate Editor of Energy Economics and Economic Modelling, and sits on the editorial boards of a further six journals.
