Terms and Conditions of Use

This version of terms of conditions of use is dated December 19, 2019.

By using this Asia-Pacific Applied Economics Association (referred to in this Agreement as “APAEA”) site, You agree to the terms below.

1. Scope of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions of Use (otherwise known as the "Agreement") is between you, ("You"), and the APAEA.

When You use this Site (any information/content posted on it), these are the terms that will govern Your use. APAEA may change the terms of this Agreement so as tomeet its objectives and when this happens APAEA will post a notice to this effect on the Site.

You can access APAEA’s privacy policy by clicking at https://www.a-paea.org/privacypolicy which provides details on how APAEA collects, stores, uses and discloses Your personal information.

This Site is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age.

2. Use and Protection of Password and ID 

In order to use APAEA services, You need to create a username and password. It is the responsibility of the User to keep his/her account username and password private, and APAEA is not responsible for any unauthorized use of Your account. If You are concerned that your password has been compromised, You should promptly notify APAEA at contact.apaea@gmail.com.

A.    The contents including layout and format of the website may change in part or full without notice. It is the responsibility of the User to familiarize with any update of the website.

   APAEA makesno promises about the accuracy or currency of the Content, whether produced by APAEA or by third parties.

4. Availability and Use of Site 

The Site is available through a suitable internet connection speed and maybe closed for maintenance and/or upgrade. When this happens, a notice will be posted on the Site to alert Users.

APAEA is not responsible for the content on any websites to which the Site has links, and APAEA does not endorse any of those websites merely by providing links. Your use of any such links is entirely Your responsibility and should be governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of those external Sites.

APAEA offers this Site "as is." APAEA is not liable to You for any damages due to the use of the APAEA Site.

You agree to cover APAEA’s costs for any damage caused by You, including any damage to a third party.

10. Relationship of Parties

No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship is created between You and APAEA as a result of this Agreement or any use of this Site.
