Welcome
This teaching plan is designed to support the structured and progressive development of basic English skills for Chinese primary school students. The program runs over six months, with 8 instructional hours per month delivered through two one-hour lessons per week.
The curriculum emphasizes listening and speaking as foundational skills, supported by early exposure to reading and writing. Each month introduces thematic vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and interactive activities that foster communication confidence.
The approach combines songs, chants, storytelling, role play, Total Physical Response (TPR), and games, ensuring that learning remains fun, age-appropriate, and engaging. By the end of the program, students will have built a solid foundation in everyday English, cultural awareness, and basic communicative competence.
