The APAEA is calling for research proposals on COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Global
Financial Markets. APAEA
acknowledges that there is no business/finance/economics literature on
pandemics in general and therefore the profession is poor for it. The goal of
APAEA consistent with its vision is to develop a body of literature on
pandemics in general and COVID-19 in particular.
The proposal should be less than 1,000 words and
explain the contribution the proposed theme will make to the literature and
come up with series of research papers and/or research activities (showing
clearly specific outputs from any proposed activities). Research papers should
be published in peer reviewed international journals.
The proposal, in the case of research papers,
should have the following structure: research question, theory, hypothesis,
innovation & contributions, approach, budget and timeline. In the case of
research activities, the proposal should consist of activities, outputs and
budget.
The APAEA targets to grant this project to only
scholars in Economics and Finance those are already well established in this
field and having track record of publishing high quality journals. The project
is expected to be conducted over a 3 to 5 year period and should be completed
by June 30, 2025. All proposals are due by 15 May, 2020 (Australian
Eastern Time). Late proposals will not be accepted. Proposals will not be
acknowledged, and final decision will be made by May 20, 2020. If you do
not receive a correspondence by May 20, 2020 it should be assumed
that your proposal was unsuccessful.
All
proposals should be submitted by email (contact.apaea@gmail.com) in PDF
form together with a detailed resume of Project Director.
